Chief Tarfful is a Wookiee character from the Star Wars prequel trilogy, specifically known for his appearance in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

He is depicted as a Wookiee chieftain on his home planet of Kashyyyk, a lush forest world. Tarfful is shown leading Wookiee warriors in defense of their planet against the Separatist droid army during the Clone Wars.

Tarfful also notably aids Yoda in his escape from Kashyyyk following Order 66, demonstrating the Wookiees' loyalty to the Jedi Order during the Republic's downfall.
